You are The Wheel of Fortune

Good fortune and happiness but sometimes a species of
intoxication with success

The Wheel of Fortune is all about big things, luck, change, fortune. Almost always good fortune. You are lucky in all things that you do and happy with the things that come to you. Be careful that success does not go to your head however. Sometimes luck can change.

Back for a while

It's been 3 month since the last time I uploaded my post in this blog... ^_^... Classic excuse... hardly had time... hehehehe... well.. it's true...

December 2007... second exhaustive quarter... fiuh... felt like I couldn't take a breath... ASE... oh ASE... After I returned from Paris, I had to finish last ASE assignment... I didn't sleep for 2 days... Then... I paid my sleeping hours and refreshing time... I slept for a long long time.... (guess how many hours I had... ^_*)... then I watched doramas... hahahaha... it was really fun.. I was really satisfied... after those suffering days... I was finally able to enjoy my life!!!...

But................ it was not long !!!!! Too bad... I had to do another assignment, OL... deadline 31st December.... I was kinda regret not fully understand the content of the course. I know it is actually interesting yet important... but the way lecturer gave the material and assignments.. rrgggh!!!!... (I don't want to talk about it anymore)

Then, new year came... fireworks... walking in the centrum... Then.. prepare for exam!!! I hardly had time to study in the 2nd quarter. My time was all occupied to do assignments, so I had to work quite hard... And I was really afraid to face Policy retake... hic... I didn't want to retake next year... Hope I can pass it.... (later on I found that I made it... yippie...!!!!)

Yeah.. I had given up for Policy as I told my friends... "guys... I feel I am going to take Policy next year since I had less confidence in doing the retake exam compared to previous exam...." so.. I had had prepared myself to do Policy next year... but............ when I saw the announcement... I was kinda shocked ... I didn't believe it... I PASSED !!!! Alhamdulillah......... I felt an incredible sense of relief..... felt like tonnes of burden on my back being released... ^_^

After the exam period, instead having a week holiday, I had to (again) do assignment of OL.. oh.. plz... So, I had time to take a breath before entering 3rd quarter :((......

Gladly, at the nearly end of January I had chance to go to Utrecht with my friends, Thuan, Ilias, Diana and Dong (Thuan's roommate). Utrecht... bigger than Delft.. the train station is directly connected tothe centrum.. which is well.. kinda mall and it was crowded hahahaha... I like it (too bad for you Ilias hehehe ).... ;).... the centrum is big... other than the mall part there were centrum buildings that are still classic, with cannals in-between.

Then, February was coming ... 3rd quarter began.... And again, I had chance to meet
sammy...!!!... finally... he came from Eindhoven to return the book and borrowed even more!!!... hahahaha... Then on the other day, I visited him in Eindhoven...

It was very fun... I was visiting PSV... bought some souvenir for my beloved ;)....
Sammy escorted me to walk around centrum... and was being my photographer of course... ^_^... Felt like real city... Eindhoven is bigger than Delft for sure... I bought 2 books at Selexys... I really enjoyed that one day trip... !!!

I guess it was all for now.. I've got to get back to dearest assignment.... +_+....

Trapped in the Toilet?

Well... this was silly... I was trapped in the toilet!!!! What a very not cool experience... !!!
It was last Thursday, I was from TBM building, and as I was having a course at EWI, I went to EWI. Before heading to the class I decided to go to toilet first. I was in hurry, I entered the 3rd toilet in 1st floor of EWI (near the canteen). Then, when I wanted to get out... Tadaaaaaa..... I couldn't turn the lock... oh no... I tried several times... Oh no.... I started to panic... I won't be able to attend the class... What if I still couldn't open the door until few hours and EWi building was closed... Should I spend the night inside this toilet... Oh no..... Help me..........!!!!! After sometime then I tried to calm myself... Then I remember that I had my cellphone and it still had credit... Fiuh... So, I dialed Diana... "Oh dear, I am trapped in the toilet... In the 3rd toilet, 1st floor, near the canteen... can you come and help me please? .... " .... I was waiting....
Then someone called.. Puspa... Puspa... where are you....
Oh... thank God... it was Diana.. and Saman too.. I felt relieved... then I tried again to move lock...
After few times, it worked .... !!!!! I could get out....!!! Horeyy.... I won't enter that toilet again...

Walk around The Hague

Last month, 27th oct 2007, finally I decided to join excursion in DIS2007 event. I visited Madurodam (you can see the pic :p), Panorama Mesdag and Gemeente Museum in Den Haag. I actually kinda feel dizzy since I just had slept at 4am. I was having an exam on the next Tuesday. Well, at last I felt happy participated in the event.... yet, I still don't know how's my exam result :( Oh.. quarter 1.....

My email == Spam ?

This is a kinda funny story.... ;) I was sending my answer for an assignment for a lecturer. He said before in the class that we will have feedback after sending our work. Well, I was waiting .... a day, two days.... a week... then I began to doubt whether he rejected my work nor my email was somewhere other than in his inbox. Then I send him a second email, asking a feed back... He replied and apologized that he missed recognizing my email with spam email and put it in the spam folder and then he promised to give feedback within 2 days... Wattaaa....... How come he did that... I was obviously using email account from TUD... it's clearly stated... @students.tudelft.nl... =)) But then in the afternoon, on the same day, I received the feed back ... ;)

Sick

Five days after my arrival I got high fever, severe headache... got to go to doctor... Rrrghh.. dealing with doctor wasn't easy here. First I had to make appointment either by phone or coming to the clinic. Appointment wasn't an easy task, I was rejected at first, the receptionist of the clinic listened to my explanation about my condition and suddenly said, well you don't need to go to doctor then.. Rrrrggghhh how come she said that... I felt like I really wanted to punch her.. or exchanged this sickness. Then I insisted that I can't hold on anymore. And finally she said okay. I also insisted about the time, I must go to doctor that day, and she said okay. At first I was scheduled on the next day... Fiuh... it's really annoying...

After I came to the doctor, I asked him, what am I supposed to say to describe my sickness. He replied, acute pain, emphasize on that not the fever ;) Then, the receptionist will have no option other than let you come.

I also went to hospital to have a blood and urine test. After totallnya 2 weeks, I was perfectly healthy ;) Thanks to all who were really kind to look after me, when I was sick .... Thank you...
^_^

Ramadan was coming also... Fasting time... :)

Welcome to Holland

After more than a year, this blog has been forgotten :p... I start to write again due to some protests from some friends... ;). Here it goes...

It was Sept 3rd 2007, after hours (I forgot hehehe.... ) on flight from JKT-KL-AMS.
Arrived @Schiphol, we, 4 StuNeders (Endang,Venty,Albert) tried to think how to get to Delft. Endang had a printed email containing information to get to that city. So, after looking around (just like lost people hehehe...), we decided to buy train ticket which was much expensive since we only had cash.

The biggest problem was we had big heavy luggage :((... Mine was over 40 kilos... And I had to get those things on board and off board the train. We stopped @TheHague to change the train. It didn't take long time to reach Delft, only about 45 minutes (I assumed...) and we got off @StationDelftCentraal. After testing our suitcases on the train station stairs, we walked to find bus. We bought strippenkaart at a shop in the station. Then, off we went on bus to Kanaalweg 4, Duwo office, where we could get our room keys (we didn't know where it is, we also didn't bring any map... BIG MISTAKE). Na na na... Tada... we passed the bus stop where we were supposed to get off. Oh no... After got off and looked around for a while (this means 'celingukan' with tired and desperate faces), there was a guy (student I guessed), asked if we had problem, we told him, and fortunately he had map. And Duwo office (Kanaalweg 4) was not far from the place we were standing (regardless the luggages since it would definitely made Duwo office seemed so far away +_+). Then... we got to Duwo office... Alhamdulillah ;)

Duwo had successfully impressed me that they are not professional at the very beginning. I had to pay 10 € more that it was written in the letter they sent me before. The officer simply said "We made mistake I am sorry but you have to pay according to our computer". Tired and exhausted I just paid because I am really not in the mood to debate. Then off we went, to IO (International Office), leaving all the luggage @Duwo ;)

Then I contacted Linda, via meebo.. ;) And suddenly there were 2 people approaching, later known as Baqir and Dira, they helped us a lot that day. Also I met Satya, an old friend ;). We were doing registration that day and bla bla bla... then came back to Duwo to take our luggage and headed to Roland Holstlaan (fortunately 4 of us got the same housing). -done ... What an tiring day...
